Rachel has been in the Biz since the ripe old age of 4.5, when she chose to give up soccer because it overlapped with dance and gymnastics at the local Chelsea Piers that she went to, and hasn't looked back since (unless someone wants to cast her in a sporty role, in which case she has definitely been keeping up those skills). She went to her first professional audition with her mentor, Ken Lundie, and was bitten by the bug.
She grew up going to auditions, and got to work on some pretty cool projects! Some of these fond memories include Saturday Night Live as a child (there's now a gif of her from that playing Menorah the Explorer), Sesame Street, and various commercial spots. She also grew up doing a ton of theatre, getting to work with both old and new legends on shows like Bend in the Road off-Broadway through NYMF, Number the Stars at the Davenport off-Broadway, Pippi Longstocking off-Broadway at the York theatre, and more!
She is a current student at Northwestern University, on track for probably the longest and silliest degree title. Here goes nothing: A B.A. in theatre with a focus on acting and musical theatre, with a sub focus in acting for the screen, as well as a module in Musical Theatre writing, a dance minor, and a business certificate... but if you are someone from a dating app, she will probably just tell you she has a degree in communications. She will also fail to mention that she not only does acapella, but is the music director of her group and would love to be in Pitch Perfect 9: the one where they infiltrate the all male group and turn them co-ed.
While pursuing her degree, she remains actively auditioning and working, having worked on two cast albums, countless cabarets, a few films, and any art that she can get her hands on.
